Ah, he finally teared up. I was expecting him to tear up earlier when Yami and the Wizard King acknowledged him and expected something from him. I mean, he was riddled with insults saying it's impossible for him to be the Wizard King and such all his life up to that point. Finally being acknowledged by someone else must feel like the best feeling in the world for him.

But I guess I was wrong. That wasn't the best feeling yet. There's a greater feeling than that and that is having friends who would support him despite the obstacles he's facing. I guess it really is much worse to receive endless disbelief without anyone's support than just receiving countless disbelief alone. Good for you, Asta. You found something much much greater than magic powers.

I really like that this is pretty much the first time we saw Asta cry. It wasn't because of despair or pain. It was just him being thankful.. He's got people he can lean on and that believe in him now, it's probably the greatest gift he ever recieved.

he already had yuno and the church wit him but going out in the outside world and making this promising trustworthy friends that will stick by your side no matter what gives a different feeling especially when people treat u as a peasant with no magic to even begin with. Happy for our Bakasta:)

Asta didn't even say a word to them and make them worry about him instead just went with his normal flow, considering how much insults and taunts he has suffered and risen from on his own without anyone's help despite having no magic, everyone keeps demotivating him yet he hadn't give up even when he felt like giving up. THE FEELS GOT ME, the bonds he made with the squad is like pure bliss, they immediately noticed that there was something wrong and started to find ways to cure him instantly, ASTA YOUR PRICELESS FRIENDS GOT YOUR BACK! Also the moment where he sat alone on the rock was so emotional, thanks for not giving up my man.

I think it's the sensitive matter for Asta. It's not really easy for him to talk about in that same day when he realize the only weapon of his are gone. Dude has zero magic and on top of that his arms. I would feel sh*t and worthless in the world that everything is about magic.

He can't, in the earlier ep they stated a disclaimer that Asta's power works against curse magic, not actual curses when he was fighting with the curse magic user.

I can’t believe I’m saying this about an anime character but I feel so jealous that he’s got such good friends. I wish I had friends like that. I had friends before in school I even went to some of their house and ate meals sometimes but we’re not in contact anymore and I’m in a different country now. The only friends that I have now are my cousins and siblings and parents because I don’t know how to make friends because I don’t trust people that easily and I feel like it’s better to not to make friends because someday you have to say goodbye and not be in touch anymore but I still want to make some friends so it’s a contradiction I mean it’s mixed feelings.
